Exactly what I wanted

I knew what I was getting goin in, but I wouldn't have it now if not for Gunprime. Selling a discontinued rifle at a "fair" price instead of trying to price gouge like everyone else is about the most decent thing a vendor can do. As long as their prices remain fair they've got a new lifelong customer. Personally I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The Ruger Gunsite scout fills its niche beautifully, it's pretty lightweight with the synthetic stock and the 350 Legend is a solid caliber for everything up to and including elk if you're keeping it inside 150 yds. Depending on the load I've seen up to 2.3X expansion and over 30 inches of penetration, so for a do-all rifle in the brush woods of the northeast this gun is perfect.
